Adam Kane Architects have given new life to this weatherboard cottage, carefully using contemporary lighting fixtures to illuminate and accentuate structural and material features, which creates a unique and unexpected spatial experience. Contrasts in light and dark, solid and void, and materiality are a deliberate play on the sense of space.
